Bellinghistory/Good Time girls are following the Washington State Restart COVID-19 Requirements and recommendations for Outdoor Recreation, under the section for Guided ATV, Paddle Sports, Horseback Riding, other Guided Outdoor Activities.
Outdoor activities have been determined to be viable and relatively low risk.
We are following current masking guidelines for Washington State, note that these GUIDELINES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
3/12/2022 UPDATE: We are currently not requiring masks on tours as per the current guidelines, but encourage those who wish to mask to do so.
Our guides are fully vaccinated and we hope you are too. Depending on the tour and establishments we partner with, proof of vaccination may be required for entry.
As strict physical distancing is not feasible at all times or for certain tasks, other prevention measures may be required, such as use of masks. In the event masks are needed disposable masks will be available.
Our costumed guides will have a microphone headset and speaker to facilitate hearing.
We are limiting public tour sizes, and continuing to offer private and virtual tour options for those not comfortable or able to join larger public groups.
Additional precautions we are taking for the safety of customers and guides include:
Guide Training
We will educate guides in the language they understand best about coronavirus and how to prevent transmission, as well as on our COVID-19 protocols and procedures as follows.
Illness Screening
We will screen employees for signs/symptoms of COVID-19 and require sick employees to stay home or immediately go home if they feel or appear sick. Tours may be subject to cancellation due to any signs of employee illness, in this case a full refund will be offered.
We will require customers to cancel if they have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches, or new loss of taste or smell and ensure that they can reschedule with no penalty when they are feeling better.
Booking
We will continue to utilize on-line or phone reservation systems to limit interactions, and restrict payments to credit cards only to eliminate the handling of cash.
Tour Protocols
As strict physical distancing is not feasible at all times or for certain tasks, other prevention measures may be required, such as use of masks.
Tours will have at least one hour between them to minimize contact between groups of participants and for sanitization purposes.
We will ensure frequent and adequate hand washing and sanitizing.
Hand sanitizer will be carried by guides on each tour and available for use.
Items that are used for tours such as pens, pictures, microphones, masks etc. will be sterilized, replaced and/or laundered between tours as appropriate.
Bellinghistory Good Time Girls will keep up to date on all changes issued by the Office of the Governor, the Department of Labor & Industries, and the Department of Health.
We try to respect the safety needs of both customers and guides. please contact us with any questions or concerns.
Stay Safe Bellingham! XO
