Where do the tours meet?

Tour meeting locations are provided upon registration, since they may vary.  You should receive a confirmation e-mail with all the relevant details. We strive to meet in an easy-to-find public location central to the tour route with nearby public parking.

How long are tours?

Tours generally range from around an hour to an hour-and-a-half.  Special tours may be longer.

Do you offer private tours?

Yes. See HERE.

Are tours appropriate for all ages?

Some of our tours feature adult-themed topics (Sin and Gin – sex) or potentially “scary” topics (Gore & Lore – violence/death) and as such parental guidance is recommended  - we welcome older kids who are interested and accompanied by parents who are okay with it!

Some tours feature optional 21+ beverages at the end.

Other tours are suitable for all-ages and we can accommodate smaller children without charge. See HERE.

Anyone disrupting tours whether child or adult will be asked to control themselves or leave the tour.

Private tours are great for those needing more flexibility for including children, as they can be readily tailored to your family’s needs.

Are Gore and Lore Tours scary?

That depends on the person!  There are no jump-scares, and we have yet to encounter any ghosts while on the tours.  The subject matter on these tours does involve true-crime stories that can be graphic and gory, as well as spooky tales of ghosts and the like that may not be suitable for children and those sensitive to such topics.  Despite the subject matter, we try to keep it upbeat – bring your darkest sense of humor. Feel free to contact us for further details.

Where can I buy tickets?

Reservations are online.  See our various tour descriptions or calendar page and follow the links for purchasing tickets to your preferred tour.   You do not need to print a ticket, just provide your name upon arrival.

Are tickets refundable or exchangeable?

Yes. Our cancellation policy: A full refund will be honored if cancellations are made 24 hours in advance, otherwise give us shout and we will happily reschedule if life happens. And yes, we are particularly flexible during these pandemic times.

What if the weather is bad?

Welcome to the Pacific Northwest! Tours run rain or shine, we won't cancel for weather unless it is deemed hazardous, in which case a refund/reschedule option will be offered. We can take cancellations 24 hours in advance or reschedule if you just can’t take it, but please let us know ASAP.

How much are tickets?

Generally walking tour tickets are $20-$30/ person.  Some tours and events may be less or more depending on what is involved. We have dynamic pricing with discounts automatically applied to bookings during the off-season, on weekdays and of 4 tickets or more!

Are there discounts or scholarships available?

Making our tours accessible is very important to us, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.  We will also offer free and discounted tours as we can throughout the season.

Do you offer group rates?

Yes we do.  Large parties please contact us for rates!

Are tickets available at the door?

Usually not, we require online registration as total numbers may be limited.  We can sometimes make an exception for additions to existing registrations if there is space available.

Where should we park?

Tours generally start and end near the same location, so parking close to the designated meeting spot is recommended.  More specific parking recommendations will be provided as needed after registration.

What do I need to bring on a tour?

Dress for the weather outside. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring your valid ID if it is a tour involving alcoholic beverages.  Tips are always appreciated by guides and bartenders.  Masks may be necessary as subject to current state guidelines.  Bring a sense of humor!

Can I take pictures while on the tour?

Personal photography is encouraged! Yes please tag us on social media!  Photos taken while on the tours are permitted for personal use only. For all commercial, product, or media shoots please contact us for advanced approval.

Are food and beverages allowed?

We’re cool with water bottles and pocket snacks and the like.

Are there bathrooms?

We encourage you to locate and use facilities before arriving on site as during the pandemic restroom access has become more limited. We will do our best to point out potentially available restrooms as needed.

Are tours pet friendly?

We love pets; however, not everyone does.  We encourage you to book a private tour if you wish to bring them along.  Service animals are an exception, we do appreciate a heads-up!

Are tours ADA accessible?

We plan our routes to be wheelchair/stroller accessible as much as possible. Our guided walking tours are conducted on city-maintained sidewalks and occasionally trails. For more information on accessibility see HERE.

What are good time girls covid-19 policies to ensure guest safety?
