HOLIDAY HISTORY HI-JINKS
with the Good Time Girls!
“Holiday History Hi-Jinks” is the name of our annual celebration of holiday themed Belling-history, seasonal boozy drinks and good times.
Once upon a time, there was a caroling pub-crawl for good causes. Then the Covid-19 pandemic happened. Caroling together became impossible, both IRL and over zoom. This year, we are still not going to attempt any sort of pre-Covid level shenanigans… but there will be booze, and holiday history, trivia, prizes, crazy outfits, jingle bells and a few carols… outdoors… at a distance! Masked and vaxxed! Supporting a good cause of course!
This 2-hour event features a guided walking tour of downtown Bellingham filled with holiday-themed history, trivia and caroling; sandwiched between boozy beverages at some of our favorite local watering holes: Uisce Irish Pub and the historic Ranch Room.
You’ll hear about how and when Santa Claus came to B-town over the years, learn the deets on Bellingham’s world-record giant “Yule Tree” and more!
Because we like to have a good time while supporting a good cause, a portion of our proceeds this year will benefit victims of flooding in Whatcom County via the Whatcom Community Foundation’s Resilience Fund.
